Italy’s Stunning Coastal Town Offers Unbelievable 84p Weekend Getaway for Two with Luxury Accommodation, Guided Tours, and Gourmet Meals Included

A charming Sicilian town is offering an incredible weekend getaway for two at an unbeatable price of just one euro (84p). Siculiana, a picturesque coastal village on the island’s western shore, is inviting couples to experience its beautiful beaches, historic landmarks, and breathtaking views. To help boost the local economy, the town’s tourist board is providing a three-night stay, including accommodation, meals, and guided tours, all for the cost of a typical tourist tax.

To enter, all you need to do is submit a 30-second video explaining why you and your travel companion would love to visit Siculiana. Applicants must be 18 or older and submit videos in pairs. Ten lucky couples will be chosen to enjoy this extraordinary experience from Friday, April 4 to Sunday, April 6. The deadline for submissions is Saturday, March 15, with winners announced on Thursday, March 20.

What’s included in the 84p getaway?
The winners will be treated to a weekend at one of Siculiana Turistica’s partner hotels. The package covers all meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—along with a welcome drink at the hotel and a farewell drink by the marina.

In addition to meals and drinks, the holiday also offers guided tours to explore Siculiana’s most historically significant sites. Not to be missed is the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, just 13 km away, an archaeological marvel. Another highlight is the 14th-century Chiaramonte Castle perched atop a cliff, along with several other churches and monuments scattered throughout the town.

However, there’s one small catch: flights are not included in the 84p deal. You can fly from the UK to Palermo for approximately £50, after which you’ll need to make your way from the airport to your hotel in Siculiana.

Additionally, winners will be asked to create a video diary of their trip, capturing the highlights of their Sicilian adventure to share with the Siculiana Tourism Board.
